Industrial rock salt

Natural rock salt mined in the Salt Mine Kłodawa. It contains no allergens or genetically modified agents.

Rock salt is widely used in several industries:

- Tanning
- Heating (water softening process)
- Chemical industry (as the basic raw material for the preparation of compounds of sodium and chlorine fabrication and his union, especially consumed in large quantities of hydrochloric acid)

Chemical composition
  • NaCl - min 97 %
  • *) NaCl content in dry product
  • H2O in 105oC max 0,5%
  • Substances insoluble in water – max 1,5 %
Physical properties
  • Flavour – salty, spicy, specific
  • Color/form – white, microcrystalline powder
  • Odour – no strange odours
  • No mechanical contamination
Packaging/best before use
  • Packaging – 25kg and 50kg sacks, Big Bag 1000kg, bulk
  • Best before date- 2 years following production date on the packaging
  • Storange conditions – dry warehouses, max 75 % relative humidity
